Mental Health Awareness Week

Posted on:

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week; and NHS Kent and Medway is working with partners in councils and the community to raise awareness of the support available for mental health and wellbeing. Furthermore, on Monday, 27 March, Kent and Medway became one of the first regions in England to launch NHS 111 option 2 for mental health.

With option 2, when a caller based in Kent and Medway dials NHS 111, they can “press 2” to access dedicated mental health support via the Kent and Medway Mental Health Crisis Line. The crisis line is provided by Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT).
