Meet the Team

Our Doctors

All patients are required to have a named GP who will have overall responsibilities for care and support from the surgery. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do.

Our Nursing Team

Advanced clinical practitioners eventually work at the level of a middle grade doctor. They support existing and clinical care to enhance the capacity and capability within multi-professional teams. Their primary roles include improving clinical continuity, providing more patient-focused care. They also helps provide safe, accessible and high-quality patient care.

At Headcorn our GPs are supported by a range of professionals. Lorraine and Mandy undertake both phone and face to face consultations. They are nurses by background but have undergone extensive training which enables them to see, diagnose, prescribe and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions independently, they are also able to refer for scans and to consultants in the hospital trust. In the event your issue is beyond the scope of what Lorraine and Mandy can deal with, they have robust support from our GPs. They are not here to replace the GPs, but work alongside them and ensure all our patients are able to have access to primary care services. In surgeries and hospitals across the country there are more professionals like Lorriane and Mandy who are keen to give patients an excellent standard of care using their advanced skills.
