Services We Provide
The following services are available during opening hours under the NHS contract:
Nurses based at our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions (e.g. minor injuries, removing stitches, travel vaccinations, immunisations and so on). Our practice nurses are also specially trained to run routine clinics for certain conditions, such as diabetes, asthma and heart disease. (Each of our nurses specialises in a different area, so you need to book ahead with the most appropriate person). Our reception staff will be able to advise whether a nurse appointment is appropriate.
Please note, we no longer offer a non NHS travel vaccination service at the practice. If you require any vaccinations and/or anti malarial protection relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment at a local travel clinic to discuss what you will need for your trip. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations and anti-malarials are required.
We do provide a limited travel vaccination service for vaccines available through the NHS , which includes Hepatitis A, Diphtheria,Tetanus & Polio and Typhoid.
Non NHS Services
Some services, such as the provision of medical certificates and other forms, examinations for fitness to drive, some travel vaccines etc., are not covered by the NHS.
